HopeStrong Released Time Bible Education (RTBE) is a nondenominational Bible education class offered at no cost to students. Volunteers from area churches work together to present solid Bible education classes to students. Bible classes are offered during the school day with parent/guardian consent, are located off school property and are funded by the local community. Students are released to leave school for approximately one hour, one day a week. Classes are offered during non-instructional times in the school day. Transportation is provided by HopeStrong (vans or buses) to the HopeStrong Vikings-Walnut site at 15495 Winchester Road. Trained volunteers accompany students from the school building to the HopeStrong site for Bible class. Volunteers go through an extensive approval and training process, have background checks, and are committed to ensuring child welfare and safety during program times.
